Welcome to everyone who has ever had a struggle with eating!

It is so great to know that one is not alone in the challenges of everyday living, especially those moments when you are all by yourself and you get the thought "nobody will know" or "who cares" or "I just can't do it."
These blogs were created to document my journey to a path of gentler eating. I am tired of always choosing to be preoccupied with my shape, my weight and what am I going to eat to fix this "hunger" inside me.
I am grateful to many, many people in my life for their support and love and guidance. It is really amazing the non-judgmental care that they have shown me. A lesson of how to treat my Self...let go of the judgment and enjoy who I am as I am right now.
Here is to 100% commitment to following my path with passion, honesty and willingness. To those who read these blogs, please contribute your thoughts....it may reach someone that really needs to hear what you have experienced or think.

Keep/Start/Stop My Daily 3

This is the second week now of embarking on my meditation-inspired course of change. Life is movement, stillness is death. Neither is better than the other, unless one chooses that one is better than the other. In this moment right now, I blend both together....a desire for growth, change and movement AND at the same time or interspersed with moments of quiet reflection to make sure of my connection to my Source. So, enough blah, blah, blah. (hahahaha)
Some of you know that I started a new course of action where I would focus on action(s) to keep, action(s) to start and action(s) to stop. My first week was intense! The shift in focus was profound in terms of getting things accomplished and prioritizing what was most important in needing to be done. As I get into the week, I soon realized that many of my start actions were actual physical things to do (long walks with the dog, sweeping the loft, making the bed daily) which was adding demands on my time. Many of my stop actions were things that were combined while doing other things (like not buying candy, pastries, milk) so the stop actions (other than the no online video games) were not freeing time up for my start actions.
So I realized that some of my Start actions had to be shifts in choices (like paying only cash for personal items) that did not necessitate taking more time to do. This allowed me to feel less anxious about the possibility of succeeding with this new course. Also, I chose to only do the journal 5 of 7 days in a week so not to constantly be push, push, push and then burn out. Give me a couple days to actually enjoy the change and see if any of the changes needed correction of any sort.
Yay! I am liking it lots!
Actually what is happening is I am consciously living the life that I choose. Pretty powerful thought. So anyway, that's it for now. To choosing happiness!
